Halo
Organised by The Architects’ Journal as a part of the borough’s £500 million Growth Zone programme, Twelve and vPPR Architects together with Whitewall Co. won the competition to develop an interactive wayfinding system for Croydon Council. With LEDs set in perforated Cor-ten steel fascia and downward light curtain, Halo is a family of devices that not only provides interactive information such as local data, weathers and local businesses, but also serves as a temporary stage for street performances. Currently under development, the first Halo is to be expected by the end of 2018.






GAO
Identity Design for London-based Gallery in Active Operation. Inspired by Yü Bing-nan — who created Freundschafts Antiqua in the form of bamboo pen strokes during 1960s in GDR — we redrew and updated his early drawings as a display font.





vPPR Architects
Graphic design and web development for vPPR architects. A homage to Josef Albers and Jan Tschichold’s exploration in stencil typography, a custom font was created to reflect the geometric nature of vPPR’s works. London, 2017.

Website for the renown Kyoto-based type foundry Hiragino. Established in 1993, Hiragino offers typeface products in major East Asian scripts and several of the products are selected as the system fonts in the macOS system. Website Design & Development. Kyoto, 2016
